Lilith Fair
Half of music festival attendees are women. However, only 12% of the performers are female. Re-imaging the music festival of the 90s, I decided to plant it in Seneca Falls NY, the birthplace of American’s women’s rights. While exploring the concept of feminism by researching Lilith, religious symbolism, and fair vernacular, I was able to use color and language as the festival’s attitude. The box system allows for the lockup to always keep moving, as well as preventing favoritism over well-known bands.
